Tips for Registered Users

If you are a registered user, your profile information is stored securely for your use in future visits. Use the "My Account" page to keep your information up to date:

Current Address:

Keep your current address and your contact phone numbers up to date.

E-mail and Password:

If your e-mail address changes, be sure to update it so you will receive your order and shipping confirmations. Also, change your password regularly for increased security.

Payment Methods:

If available, you can securely save new payment methods or update existing ones -- for instance, update your credit card expiration date.

Order Tracking & History:

Check the current status of your orders and view past orders.

My Memberships:

Authenticate yourself as a member of a special group. This may allow you to view and purchase products or services available only to members of that group.

Shipping Addresses:

Edit and manage your saved shipping addresses. For instance, you might save your grandma's address under the nickname "Grandma". Then during checkout, you'll be able to select from your list of shipping addresses. Data fields will automatically be filled in for you.

Liability Waiver for Non-Credit Classes

Waiver: In consideration of my (or my child's) participation in this non-credit class, I hereby release and discharge NEIU Community and Professional Education (CAPE) and its representatives, successors, and assigns, from any and all liability arising from accident, injury, and illness that I (he/she) may suffer as a result of my (our) participation in this activity. I (we) also will follow the rules and regulations set by NEIU and above named parties. Parent or guardian must sign for anyone age 18 and under. I do hereby grant and give these groups the right to use my or my child(s) photograph or image with or without my or my child's name, both singly and in conjunction with other persons or objects and presentations, advertising, publicity, and promotion relating thereto.

Refund Policy

Requests for a refund must be made in person or by email at cape@neiu.edu. (Please note that refund requests by voicemail are not accepted.) To process your request, please indicate your name, and the class or workshop name and date in which you are requesting a refund. The Office of Community and Professional Education will respond to refund requests during normal business hours. 

Full refunds minus a 3% processing fee will be given for requests made more than 72 hours before the class or workshop begins. For requests made with 24 to 72 hours notice, 75% of the cost will be refunded. For requests made with less than 24 hours notice, 50% of the cost will be refunded. No refunds will be given once a class or workshop begins. We do not have a "drop class" procedure as we must pay instructors based on enrollment.
